A serviceman of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic became the champion at the AMMA tournament in China





Junior Sergeant Syimyk Zhanibek uulu, representing the Army Sports Club of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, won a gold medal at the international tournament in traditional martial arts AMMA, which took place in the Chinese city of Luzhou.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the athlete competed in the category up to 77 kg, where the competition was quite high.

More than 400 participants from 15 countries gathered at the championship, and as a result of the competition, Zhanibek uulu qualified to participate in the 2026 Summer Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan.
