At this tournament, Mungenshagai Enkhbold won a silver medal in the weight category up to 96 kg, while his compatriot Unenhuu Enkhjin received a similar award in the category up to 120 kg. Last year, Mungenshagai became the gold medalist in Cambodia, where the national anthem of Mongolia was played in his honor. This year, having reached the finals again, he took second place and confirmed his status as a two-time medalist of the Asian Championship.

In the women's category up to 49 kg, the bronze medal was won by Enkhjin Naranter. Bronze awards in the men's weight categories were also received by Adyyaa Altangerel (65 kg), Purevbaatar Bat-Olzii (77 kg), and Dashnyam A. (85 kg), which allowed the Mongolian flag to be raised over Luzhou. In total, Mongolia sent 14 athletes to the continental championship, six of whom returned home with medals.

The championship, organized by the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Federation, also served as a qualifying stage for participation in the 20th Asian Summer Games, which will take place in Aichi-Nagoya in 2026, and the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Riyadh in the same year.
