About 350 wrestlers are expected to participate, competing for 30 sets of medals.
From April 6 to 12, the Asian Championship in Wrestling will take place in Bishkek at the "Jashtyk Arena," as reported by the Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
This prestigious tournament will bring together outstanding athletes from the continent in three categories: Greco-Roman wrestling, women's wrestling, and freestyle wrestling.
A total of about 350 wrestlers will compete for 30 sets of medals.
The championship schedule is divided by types of wrestling:
— from April 6 to 8, Greco-Roman wrestling competitions will be held;
— from April 8 to 10, tournaments in women's wrestling will take place;
— from April 10 to 12, freestyle wrestling will be held.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan will be represented by the strongest athletes in the country: 10 wrestlers in Greco-Roman style, 9 in women's wrestling, and 10 athletes in freestyle wrestling.
