In the Chui region, specifically in the village of Kashka-Suu, a serious problem with the use of land resources has been identified. The Land and Water Supervision Service, operating under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted an inspection and found that a plot of rain-fed arable land covering 0.72 hectares is being used improperly. Its owner, citizen B.T.J., instead of engaging in agricultural activities, organized a recreational area under the brand Karting-Buggy on this plot.
As a result of the inspection, administrative measures were taken, including a fine imposed in accordance with Article 239 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. Additionally, the landowner was issued a directive for the mandatory use of the land for agricultural purposes. The agency also noted that in case of ignoring these requirements and continuing the improper use of the arable land, stricter measures will follow, including the possibility of land seizure in accordance with the country's Land Code.
The Land and Water Supervision Service continues to actively combat such violations throughout the republic. The agency reminds of the importance of adhering to legislation for the rational use of agricultural land and the protection of the country's land fund.
