On April 1, 2026, from 09:00 to 22:00, the supply of drinking water will be temporarily suspended in the capital. The shutdown will affect residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical organizations, and other social facilities, as well as industrial enterprises.
According to information provided by the city administration, the shutdown will take place in the following areas:
- Lermontov, Auezov, Sh. Baatyr, Kolbaev streets, and the TETS-Tokmak canal;
- Alamedin microdistrict and the Builders' Town.
The reason for the shutdown is the reconstruction at the "Kadjisay" water intake and the modernization of the city's water supply networks.
