In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, there will be a temporary shutdown of drinking water supply on March 26. This process will begin at 9:00 AM and last until 3:00 PM.

According to the municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal," the shutdown will affect both residential buildings and educational institutions such as schools and kindergartens, as well as healthcare facilities and other social and industrial sites.

It is expected that the area bounded by Panfilova Street, Manas Avenue, Frunze Street, and the railway line will remain without water supply.

The reasons for the shutdown are the reconstruction work at the "Togolok Mold" water intake and the modernization of the city's water supply networks, as clarified by "Bishkekvodokanal."

Representatives of the enterprise apologized for any inconvenience and recommended that residents and organizations prepare in advance by stockpiling drinking water.

It is also reported that users can receive up-to-date information about planned and emergency shutdowns through the "My City" app.
