The Prosecutor General's Office discussed cooperation with the IMF mission
During the meeting held by Deputy Attorney General Zalkarbek Aknazarov, cooperation with representatives of the International Monetary Fund mission was discussed.
According to the General Prosecutor's Office, important issues concerning the fight against corruption, organized crime, and tax offenses were addressed during the consultations, as well as improving the effectiveness of investigations related to the legalization of illegal income.
An important aspect of the discussion was the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025–2030. Attention was also drawn to the interaction with financial intelligence agencies and the investigation of complex cross-border financial crimes, which is key to strengthening the institutional capacity of the prosecutor's office.
At the end of the meeting, the parties noted the importance of constructive dialogue and expressed their readiness for further development of joint work.
