The former head of the State Penitentiary Service grew the Red Book flower Aigul in Bishkek
A touching story has emerged on social media about Sheishenbek Baizakov, who previously headed the State Penitentiary Service, and his rare achievement — he grew the Aigul flower, listed in the Red Book, on his plot in Bishkek.

According to information posted by the author of the post, it took more than ten years to cultivate this unique plant. The seeds were brought from the Batken region during his service, and now the flower has been delighting the eye with its blooming for several seasons in a row.


Aigul, as is known, is one of the rarest plants in this region and is found in the wild only in limited quantities, mainly in the Batken region.
