The main objective of this campaign is to ensure safety on the roads in areas with a high concentration of people, as well as to prevent traffic accidents involving pedestrians. In addition, the raid aims to identify and suppress violations of traffic rules by both drivers and pedestrians.
During the raid, PPD employees communicate with pedestrians, explaining the importance of crossing the roadway only at designated places. Drivers are reminded of the need to reduce speed near markets and the obligation to give way to pedestrians.
The PPD strongly urges all road users to adhere to the rules and show mutual respect on the road, especially in areas with high traffic intensity and a large number of pedestrians.
