Not Just Drivers: Police in Bishkek Take on Pedestrian Discipline

In Bishkek, a preventive raid called "Pedestrian" has been launched, organized by the Patrol Police Department with the aim of reducing the number of road traffic accidents involving pedestrians.

According to the department's information, within the framework of this raid, police officers identify violations of traffic rules and issue protocols under Article 190 of the Code of Offenses. In addition, they conduct conversations with citizens aimed at raising awareness of proper behavior on the roads.

The Patrol Police Department emphasized that adherence to traffic rules is the responsibility of both drivers and pedestrians. The department urged all road users to show respect and responsibility towards each other.
