Kanatbek Chynybaev and the Chinese Ambassador Discussed Joint Projects
In the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a meeting was reported to have taken place between Minister Kanatbek Chynbaev and the Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping.
During the negotiations, the prospects and current state of bilateral cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of emergencies were discussed. The participants of the meeting emphasized the implementation of joint projects aimed at modernizing the material and technical base of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and increasing its operational capacity.
Also during the discussions, issues of experience exchange in emergency medical assistance and conducting mountain rescue operations were considered.
Minister Chynbaev expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for its selfless assistance, including the provision of fire-fighting equipment and mobile hospitals, noting that this is of great importance for improving the response system and ensuring the safety of citizens.
Ambassador Liu Jiangping, in turn, congratulated the minister on his appointment and confirmed China's readiness for further development of cooperation. She also emphasized the importance of the railway project "China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan" and initiatives within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" program.
