In Kyrgyzstan, a complete update of textbooks is being carried out in accordance with new educational standards. Aida Ishenalieva, Deputy Director of the "Okuu Kitebi" publishing house under the Ministry of Education, announced this at a meeting with heads of educational institutions in Kara-Suu, where topics related to the content of new textbooks and their implementation were also discussed.

According to Ishenalieva, 856.5 million soms have been allocated from the state budget for the publication of educational literature in 2025, which will allow the release of about 5 million copies of textbooks for general educational organizations in the country.

She also added that modern educational and methodological complexes are currently being developed and implemented. As part of this initiative, support is being provided to teachers and parents in both online and offline formats from authors and editors.

It should be noted that the update of textbooks is taking place in stages. From 2017 to 2024, less than 4 million copies of educational literature were published, and the current initiative is aimed at improving the quality of education in the country.
