In Kyrgyzstan, starting from April 1, the salary of family doctors will increase to 31,000 soms
In Kyrgyzstan, the salary of family doctors will be increased to 31,322 soms starting from April 1. This was reported by Klara Oskonbaeva, head of the Budget Policy and Financial Analysis Department of the Ministry of Health, in the program "Elden Sobol" of the Kabar agency.
In the healthcare system, each specialist has their own coefficient, and the base salary is 7,040 soms. Oskonbaeva noted that this is a unified base salary for all employees, but the coefficients vary. Doctors are divided into two categories: family doctors and other specialists.
“The coefficient for family doctors is currently increasing to 2.85. From the current 3.25, it will rise to 4.45 starting April 1,” she explained. This means that young doctors who have worked for a year in residency and are employed at the Family Medicine Center will receive this amount as their base salary.
As of today, before April 1, the salary of a family doctor is 22,880 soms. Additional payments are also provided, such as compensations for working in remote mountainous areas or rural regions.
“The president proposed to introduce a presidential compensation payment at the People's Kurultai. Doctors and nurses will receive 15,000 soms per month, while junior medical staff will receive 5,000 soms,” Oskonbaeva added.
