At the request of the Minister of Construction Nurdana Oruntaeva, the inspection was carried out by specialists from the State Institute of Seismic Resistant Construction and Engineering Design under the direction of Director Kanat Kanbolotov.
Preliminary results indicate that the building has been operated with serious violations, and the major repairs of its engineering systems were not carried out on time. As a result, the walls have been damaged, and the reinforced concrete floors have suffered from corrosion.
Based on the current condition of the building, it has been classified as potentially hazardous. A final conclusion will be presented after the completion of comprehensive engineering studies.
Information about the condition of the building has also been sent to the residents and the Bishkek city administration.
