
The meeting discussed areas of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Montenegro in various fields such as economy, tourism, agriculture, and energy.
A meeting took place in Bishkek between the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, and Ervin Ibrahimovic, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, who is on an official visit to the country. This was reported by the press service of the Government.
Kasymaliev expressed interest in enhancing cooperation with Montenegro in areas of mutual interest. He emphasized that the opening of an Honorary Consulate of Montenegro in Kyrgyzstan and the appointment of an honorary consul would be important steps towards strengthening bilateral relations and expanding interaction between the countries.
Ervin Ibrahimovic, in turn, thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome and expressed Montenegro's readiness to develop bilateral ties.
During the meeting, the possibilities of strengthening Kyrgyz-Montenegrin relations in trade, economic, tourism, agricultural, and energy sectors were also discussed.
In addition, Kasymaliev invited the Montenegrin delegation to participate in the Second Global Mountain Summit in 2027, organized by Kyrgyzstan with the support of the UN, and also suggested that Montenegrin athletes participate in the upcoming VI World Nomad Games.
