The mayor expressed his dissatisfaction with the state of the market, noting that despite the improvement work carried out over the year, the responsible services failed to ensure proper oversight.
“The situation has returned to square one: street trading has resumed, and the appearance of the area has deteriorated,” the mayor's statement said.
As a result of the discussion, the following decisions were made:
- The head of the organizational and control department of the city hall, Kubandyk Akmatbekov, was relieved of his duties;
- The akim of the Oktyabrsky district, Zhanibek Orozaliev, was also dismissed;
- The first deputy akim of the district, Maiymbek Adylbekov, lost his position.
In addition, disciplinary actions were taken for insufficient oversight and failure to fulfill official duties:
- Warnings were issued to the deputy mayors Azamat Kadyrov and Ramiz Aliyev;
- A reprimand was given to the head of the Municipal Enterprise “City Road Transport Infrastructure,” Asylbek uulu Bakai, and to the head of the municipal inspection, Mirlanbek Talaybekov.
Furthermore, a review of the compliance of the head of the economics and finance department of the Oktyabrsky district administration with the position held was initiated.
