Representatives of the district leadership, local institutions and enterprises, as well as residents, attended the celebration. During the cooking of sümölök, folk songs and good wishes from the participants were heard.
The following day, March 21, became a day of festivities, when an official event dedicated to Nowruz took place in front of the Ton District State Administration building. The main goal of this event was to celebrate national traditions and strengthen the unity of the people, as well as to joyfully welcome spring.
The solemn event was attended by district leaders, veterans, and many rural residents. As part of the official proceedings, several local residents received awards for their achievements.
As part of the celebration, a "Yurt Inspection" competition was organized, showcasing local traditions, as well as an exhibition-competition of national dishes, where each rural district presented its unique features. Participants paid attention to the decoration of yurts and the setting of the dastorkon. The best were determined at the end of the competition and were also awarded.
The district culture department prepared a concert program that included folk songs, national dances, and theatrical performances. Both young talents and experienced artists showcased their skills.
During the celebration, sports games and national competitions took place, such as tug-of-war and other interesting contests. Participants, both young and elderly, actively took part, and prizes were awarded to the winners.
