According to information provided by the press service of the Bishkek mayor's office, festive events dedicated to Nowruz are planned in various districts of the city on March 21.
In the Sverdlovsk district, the celebration will take place in the Karagacheva grove from 12:00 to 16:00. National yurts will be set up, showcasing traditional lifestyles and customs, as well as performances by creative groups and diasporas. The program includes sports competitions, master classes in folk crafts, and a fair featuring national dishes.
In the Oktyabrsky district, events will be held in the "Yntymak-2" park, where students from the "Shayir Balalyk" Children's Creativity Center will participate. Guests can look forward to a variety of national games such as chess, tug-of-war, toguz korgool, darts, as well as relays, football, and volleyball. Master classes and an exhibition of works are also planned, along with entertainment activities for children and adults.
In the Leninsky district, the celebration will begin at 14:00 on the territory of the "Gazprom - for Children" sports complex in the Archa-Beshik residential area. The program includes concerts, demonstrations of national rituals, the creation of an ethnovillage made of yurts, thematic exhibitions, and master classes.
Additionally, in the "Ashar" park of the Ak-Orgo residential area, yurts will also be set up from 15:00, along with an ethnofeast, sports games, and cultural events.
In the Pervomaisky district, the holiday will take place in the Ak-Bosogo residential area, where yurts will also be set up, folk games will be held, traditional rituals will be showcased, and a concert program will be presented. Guests will be offered to try national dishes.
