Verification of legality of stay and prevention of extremism threats
In Bishkek, as part of the operation "Illegal," organized by the service for combating extremism and illegal migration, operational activities are being conducted. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that during this action, more than 200 foreign citizens were delivered to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are verifying the documents of these individuals to establish the legality of their stay in Kyrgyzstan and to determine any possible involvement in offenses.
The authorities urge both local residents and guests of the capital to understand the ongoing activities and strictly adhere to the requirements of migration legislation. In case of violations, measures will be taken in accordance with current legislation.
