The festive events took place on March 21 in the central square of Naryn as part of the initiative "Aryba kyrgyzmyndyn narktuluğu." Within the framework of the holiday, competitions were organized for the best execution of traditional skills: "Best Yurt," "Best Craftsman," "Best Sümölök," and "Best National Dish."
The highlight of the celebration was a large cultural event featuring performances by popular artists. President Sadyr Japarov also participated in the festivities.
Representatives of the Ail'nyi Aymak Ala-Buga from the Ak-Talinsky district returned with awards. In the "Best Yurt" competition, the village of Kosh-Döbö took second place, receiving 90,000 soms. In the "Best Sümölök" category, the village of Choloq-Kaiyn also came in second and won 30,000 soms, while in the "National Dish" competition, Ak-Taly took third place.
Additionally, participants prepared eight cauldrons of sümölök, for which they were paid 10,000 soms for each, as well as an additional award of 10,000 soms for achievements in craftsmanship.
