The first batch of fresh carrots from Kyrgyzstan, weighing 20.7 tons, has arrived in the Perm region. This information was announced by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.

It is noted that during the same period last year, this product did not arrive in the region.

Specialists from the agency, together with representatives of the Perm branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIKR", carried out a control of the accompanying documents and conducted sampling. A phytosanitary certificate was provided for the fresh carrots. During the phytosanitary control, no violations were detected, and quarantine organisms were not found in the product, as reported in the agency's press release.
