Madina Murzakhamedova, living in Kara-Balta, along with her family decided to prepare sümölök — a traditional dish usually made for the Nowruz holiday.

Initially, it was planned to prepare the treat only for her family, but ultimately the decision was made to increase the portions, as the cooking time remained the same.

According to Madina, the process turned out to be quite complicated and required significant effort: the recipe called for 15 kg of wheat, 45 kg of flour, and 6 liters of oil.

“This is the first time I am cooking on such a scale. The main thing is the desire and patience,” the hostess shared her impressions.

Preparing sümölök takes about 18 hours of boiling, and then it is left to simmer for a long time.
The cooking process attracted the attention of passersby: people stop to stir the sümölök, make a wish, and wish for its sweet taste.

By the evening of March 21, the dish will be ready — it is expected to yield about 60 liters.

Madina plans to treat everyone who wishes, as the secret to delicious sümölök lies in constant stirring and kind wishes.
