In Osh, on March 21, the celebrations of Nowruz began with the traditional preparation of sumolok. This ritual took place in the Barpy Alykulov Park.
Attending the event were Mayor Janarbek Akayev, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Marlen Mamataliyev, and Governor Amankan Kenjebayev. They received blessings from mothers, tasted sumolok, and wished the citizens unity, prosperity, and abundance.
After the ceremony, the officials headed to the central square, where a cultural program with concerts and entertainment performances took place, creating a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
