Naryn is preparing for the celebration of Nowruz, and this year a competition for the "Best Sumolok" will be held at the national level. The organizers of the event have announced details of the upcoming competitions.
Teams from all districts of the Naryn region will participate in the competition, setting up 40 cauldrons simultaneously to prepare the traditional dish.
The prize fund of the competition is impressive: the first place will receive 100,000 soms, the second place – 50,000, and the third place – 30,000 soms. Additionally, each team will be awarded consolation prizes ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 soms.
The preparation of sumolok will begin on March 20 in the "Tian-Shan" park in Naryn. This event will be accompanied by a cultural program and festive activities, creating an atmosphere of a true celebration.
