The Eurasian Economic Commission has announced the appointment of Aigul Ryskulova as the head of the Department of Labor Migration and Social Protection.

Aigul Ryskulova, born in 1964 in Frunze (now Bishkek), is the daughter of the famous Soviet Kyrgyz actor and People's Artist of the USSR Muratbek Ryskulov. She is married and has a son.

In 1983, Ryskulova graduated from the Faculty of Law at Kyrgyz State University. Later, in 1993, she received a diploma from the Academy of Labor and Social Relations in Moscow, graduating with a degree in "Labor Economist".

Her professional path includes work in the judicial system, various ministries, and international organizations:
She worked in the field of social protection, held the position of Minister of Labor and Social Development, and also headed the State Committee for Migration and Employment.
From 2014 to 2018, Ryskulova served as the Vice Mayor of Bishkek, responsible for social issues. From 2020 to 2024, she represented Kyrgyzstan in the Commission on Economic Issues at the Economic Council of the CIS.

Aigul Ryskulova has been awarded several state honors for her contributions to the country's development, including the "Dank" medal and the title of "Honored Worker of the State Service of the Kyrgyz Republic." She is considered one of the women who played a key role in the establishment of independent Kyrgyzstan.
