About the biography
Aigul Maratbekovna Ryskulova was born in the city of Frunze.
- In 1995, she graduated from the Academy of Labor and Social Relations.
- From 1981 to 1995, Ryskulova worked in the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 1995 to 2003, she held various positions, including managerial ones, in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2003 to 2005, she was the head of the office and the first deputy chairman of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2005 to 2010, she served as the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2010 to 2011, she acted as an advisor to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- In 2012, she held the position of deputy head of the Government Office and chairman of the State Registration Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2014 to 2018, she served as the acting vice-mayor and then became the vice-mayor and acting mayor of Bishkek.
- From 2020 to 2024, she worked as the plenipotentiary representative of the Kyrgyz Republic and chairman of the Commission on Economic Issues under the Economic Council of the CIS.
- Finally, on March 11, 2026, Aigul Ryskulova was appointed as the director of the Department of Labor Migration and Social Protection of the EEC.
