The situation with epizootics in Kyrgyzstan remains under control. The chief specialist of the Department for the Control of Anti-Epizootic Measures of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Dayirkul Satkynov, reported this on the air of "Birinchi Radio."

He noted that veterinary services are effectively handling the acquisition of up-to-date information from their colleagues in districts and cities.

“At the moment, there are no registered cases of infectious animal diseases in the republic; the situation is stable,” emphasized Satkynov.

According to him, the necessary veterinary drugs and vaccines have already been delivered to the regions of the country. In 2026, it is planned to allocate 135 million soms from the republican budget for the purchase of vaccines, drugs, and antihelminthics.

Additionally, vaccination of lambs and heifers aged three to six months against brucellosis is currently underway in Kyrgyzstan, with the aim of immunizing 350,000 heads, the specialist added.

It is worth noting that earlier, residents of the country expressed concern about rumors of an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease. In this regard, the Minister of Agriculture, Erlis Akunbekov, has taken this issue under his personal control.
