The veterinary service reported a stable epizootic situation in the country
Satkynov noted that the veterinary service regularly receives up-to-date information from city and district veterinary departments.
“We collect data weekly from all regions, cities, and villages. Currently, the situation in the republic is stable — no cases of infectious animal diseases have been recorded,” he added.
Vaccines and veterinary biopreparations for preventive measures have already been delivered to the regions. In 2026, 135 million soms have been allocated from the republic's budget for these purposes, which will be used to purchase vaccines, veterinary drugs, and antihelminthics.
According to the specialist, vaccination of lambs and heifers aged 3 to 6 months against brucellosis is currently being carried out.
“The vaccine against brucellosis is quite expensive, so the funding for vaccination is provided by the state. This year, it is planned to vaccinate 350,000 heifers of this age across the country,” Satkynov specified.
In addition, vaccination of dogs against rabies is being conducted. According to the veterinary service, there are about 226,000 dogs registered in Kyrgyzstan, which receive rabies vaccinations annually.
