New buildings for the anti-plague department and forensic examination are planned to be constructed at Issyk-Kul
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, has instructed the need to develop a project for the construction of new buildings for the anti-plague department and the forensic medical examination bureau in the Issyk-Kul region.
It is worth noting that during his working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, Kasymaliev familiarized himself with the current state of the anti-plague department of the Center for Control and Prevention of Especially Dangerous and Quarantine Infections.
This institution was founded in 1894, and its laboratory base no longer meets modern biological safety standards. As a result of the visit, relevant institutions were tasked with exploring the possibility of constructing a new building and updating the material and technical base.
In addition, Kasymaliev visited the Issyk-Kul regional bureau of forensic medical examination, which is located in an emergency building constructed in 1897. This bureau has three divisions.
Following his visit, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers ordered the modernization of the institution's infrastructure, including plans for the construction of a new building and the procurement of necessary equipment.
