At the meeting on March 12, the Jogorku Kenesh approved laws regarding the ratification of agreements on visa waivers for holders of diplomatic and service passports with several countries.

Among these countries are Egypt, Oman, Slovenia, and the Benelux states. All documents were reviewed and adopted in three readings.

Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev presented the bills. He noted that these agreements contribute to strengthening diplomatic ties and simplifying official travel between states.

According to the new agreements, holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports from Kyrgyzstan and these countries will be able to cross the border freely without a visa. At the same time, their stay must not exceed 90 days within a 180-day period.
