The deputies adopted bills on the mutual abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports with four countries

The bills were adopted in three readings


At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, parliamentarians discussed bills concerning the ratification of agreements on the mutual abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports with Egypt, Oman, Slovenia, and Benelux.

The bills were presented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Almaz Imangaziev.

He reported that according to these agreements, holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports from Kyrgyzstan and the listed countries will be exempt from visas for entry, exit, and transit for a period not exceeding 90 days within six months.

During the discussion, the deputies emphasized the importance of continuing the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to expand the list of countries with which a simplified visa regime will be in effect, including not only holders of diplomatic and service passports but also ordinary citizens.

After the discussion, the parliamentarians adopted these bills.
