Currently, the old metal barriers and asphalt covering on both sides of the bridge have been completely dismantled. New reinforced concrete beams have been installed in their place, and work is underway to expand the structure.
In addition, earthworks continue on the section of the road up to Jibek Jolu Street (from 0 to 360 meters), as well as the relocation of communication and power lines.
Due to the construction activities, traffic on the section of the Lebedinovka – HES-5 highway (0-360 meters) will be temporarily suspended from February 15 to April 20.
It should be noted that the total length of the Lebedinovka – HES-5 route is 5.1 kilometers. As part of the reconstruction, it is planned to change the road category, increasing the number of lanes from 2 to 4. The project also includes the installation of street lighting, the construction of sidewalks on both sides of the large bridge, and a separate bridge for pedestrians.
