
In Kyrgyzstan, unfavorable weather conditions are developing in key mountain passes. According to the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tunduk," as of 09:30 on the morning of March 9, snow is falling in several regions.
At the Töö-Ashuu pass, a temporary restriction for heavy trucks has been introduced starting from March 10.
At the Ötmäk pass, which is on the route Suusamyr — Talas — Taraz, blizzards and cloudiness are observed, but all types of transport can continue to move.
Overcast weather is also recorded at the Söök and Chon-Ashuu passes, as well as on the roads Barskoon — Ak-Shiyrak and Karakol — Eñilchek, respectively. Traffic on these sections remains unobstructed.
At the Dolon, Char, Ak-Beyit, and Kubak passes, located along the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart route, as well as in the Boom Gorge, cloudiness is also noted. Vehicle movement is not restricted.
From March 10 to 15, there is a high probability of snow avalanches in the mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan. In addition, the formation of ice on the roads is possible.
Drivers are strongly advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles and exercise increased caution in mountainous areas.
