Kyrgyzstan Purchases Electricity Annually from Four Countries
Kyrgyzstan receives about 4 billion kWh of electricity annually. This was reported on the air of the program "Elden Sobol" by Ulubek Duysho uulu, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of the Open Joint Stock Company "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan" (NESC).
He noted that electricity is supplied from Kazakhstan, as well as from Russia, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The NESC representative also added: "At the moment, we are not engaged in electricity exports."
