
The Minister paid special attention to the organ transplantation program, which started in 2023 with the participation of Turkish specialists. Currently, 16 patients have already undergone kidney transplantation surgeries, and the selection of new patients is ongoing.

Currently, the hospital is continuing to prepare patients for upcoming surgeries. A group of patients is being formed who are undergoing necessary examinations and preparatory procedures before transplantation. After the surgeries, medical monitoring and rehabilitation will be provided for the patients.

During the visit, plans for the further development of the transplantation service were also discussed, including patient selection and the organization of subsequent surgeries.
