The Minister of Health got acquainted with the activities of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital
During his visit to the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital named after Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Damir Osmonov, familiarized himself with the medical care system and the functioning of clinical departments. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of his visit, Osmonov received information about the implementation of an electronic medical data management system in the hospital, which is used for documentation, tracking medication prescriptions, and coordinating the treatment process, allowing doctors to quickly find the necessary information about patients.
The Minister also visited the cardiology department and the angiography operating room, where modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed.
Special attention was given to the organ transplantation program, which began operating in 2023 with the participation of specialists from Turkey. So far, 16 patients have successfully undergone kidney transplantation surgeries, and new patients are being selected for future operations.
Preparation of patients for upcoming surgeries is ongoing. Currently, a group is being formed that is undergoing necessary examinations and preparatory procedures before transplantation. After the surgery, medical monitoring and rehabilitation will be provided for the patients.
During discussions, issues regarding the further development of the transplantation service, as well as planning future surgeries and selecting patients, were also considered.
