During the visit, the minister received information about the electronic medical data management system implemented in the hospital. This system allows for documentation management, monitoring prescriptions and medications, as well as coordinating the treatment process, significantly simplifying doctors' access to patient information.
Osmonov also visited clinical departments, including the cardiology service and the angiographic operating room, where modern diagnostic and treatment procedures are carried out.
Particular attention was paid to the organ transplantation program, which began its work in 2023 with the participation of specialists from Turkey. Currently, 16 patients have already undergone kidney transplantation, and the hospital continues to prepare new patients for upcoming surgeries.
During the discussion, the participants considered further steps for the development of the transplantation service, including patient selection criteria and planning future surgeries.
