Janbolotov clarified that in 2025, the construction of three bridges is planned, including bridges on Shukurava and Auezov streets. "Simultaneous commencement of work on all three sites could create serious problems for the movement of both residents and guests of the capital. We have already closed Kurmandzhan Datka Street from Jibek Jolu to Chui, and if we were to close the bridge as well, it would lead to chaos. Therefore, we decided to start the repair of the bridge in September," he explained.
Concrete work is expected to be completed by December. "Currently, the concrete is gaining strength. Last week, our laboratory technicians conducted an analysis, but unfortunately, the concrete has not yet reached the required strength. This does not allow us to open the street for traffic. Unlike asphalt, where defects can be corrected, the bridge must serve for many years. If we were to open it in winter and cracks appeared, it would lead to criticism of us. So it is better to wait," he added. Janbolotov also reported that curb installation will begin next week, and asphalt laying will start at the end of February or the beginning of March, weather permitting.
Earlier, MP Ulukbek Karybek uulu appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers for official clarifications regarding the prolonged repair of the bridge on Jibek Jolu. According to him, the section of the road has been closed since September 28, and nearly six months later, the work has still not been completed. The lengthy repairs are causing traffic jams and complicating the movement of residents.
