The Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erlis Akunbekov, visited the state breeding farm located in the Sokuluk district.

During the visit, the head of the department was informed that the biolaboratory of the farm is continuously working to improve the genetic characteristics of cattle, as well as to enhance the efficiency of artificial insemination. In addition, the farm is supplied with liquid nitrogen for technical inseminators in the regions.
"It is necessary to focus on quality rather than quantity. Only in this way can we obtain genetically pure seed material. This is one of the key areas of work today. Attention should also be paid to seeds of pasture crops that are adapted to local climatic conditions and have undergone the necessary testing," the minister emphasized.
In addition to this, the minister instructed the head of the farm to prepare a budget project for the complete reconstruction of the facility. He also mentioned that he plans to visit the farm again next week to assess the progress of the repair work.
