Currently, there are no legal mechanisms in Kyrgyzstan to regulate the commission of Yandex.Taxi. This was reported by Aibek Mamyraliev, chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to finance, budget, entrepreneurship, and competitive development.
Deputy Dastan Bekeshev raised a question during the discussion about the possibility of regulating the commission by the Ministry of Economy.
In response, Mamyraliev noted that the agency currently does not have the authority to regulate prices for the services of this platform. However, he indicated that such authority may arise with the adoption of a new legislative act.
The head of the antimonopoly service added that after the law is adopted, the state will have new tools for controlling such services.
