Up to 5 million soms will be allocated to women in Kyrgyzstan by the Swiss project 'Araket'
The Swiss project "Araket" has announced the allocation of up to 5 million soms to support women in Kyrgyzstan. This decision was the result of a business idea competition held in Bishkek and Osh, as reported by the Swiss embassy.
Within the framework of this project, pitching sessions were completed, during which participants were selected to receive small grants intended for launching or expanding their businesses.

As a result, 11 winners were identified in Bishkek and 5 in Osh, each of whom will receive grant support in the form of necessary equipment to implement or scale their projects.

The amount of support for each participant will range from 200,000 to 350,000 soms. In total, 16 business initiatives will be supported within the current cycle of the project.

The "Araket" project aims to improve life in the new buildings of Kyrgyzstan and is implemented by GFA Consulting Group GmbH with the assistance of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic.
