According to the agency's information, on January 26, M.K. was planning to fly to Turkey with his family; however, border service officers did not allow him to leave.
In an official statement, it was clarified: "The citizen had previously been fined 1000 soms, which he paid, and the restriction on this case was lifted. However, a temporary exit restriction was imposed on his wife O.Z. by the Sverdlovsk District Court due to debts to the tax authorities amounting to 1 million 320 thousand 398 soms. Thus, the reason for the denial of exit was not the presence of the 1000 soms fine, but the existing court restriction related to his wife's significant tax debt."
The bailiff service strongly recommends that citizens check for any debts on the official website before planning trips abroad.
