The Ministry of Education, with the help of JICA, aims to strengthen the development of inclusive education

Recently, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Education with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

During the event, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of education. Special attention was given to inclusive education, where the ministry proposed to improve both the infrastructure of educational institutions and the training of specialists working with children with special educational needs.

Plans for updating the material and technical base of vocational colleges and implementing the principles of inclusive education in the vocational training system were also discussed. Important aspects included the professional development of teachers and experts involved in the development of educational methodologies and standards, as well as monitoring the quality of education.

Deputy Minister Lira Samykbaeva emphasized the importance of Japanese experience in the field of education and expressed gratitude for the support and opportunities provided under international programs.

Senior Education Advisor at JICA, Murato Toshio, reported that the agency is developing a five-year strategic plan, in which education is one of the priority areas. As a result of analyzing the proposals, key areas of interaction with the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan will be identified.
