In response to the statement by the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Ulanbek Zhaanbaev, regarding the difficulties citizens face when bringing money into the country, the State Committee for National Security clarified its position. The agency noted that the control over the movement of funds across the border is carried out in accordance with the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic and international obligations.
“These measures are aimed at protecting financial security and preventing illegal financial operations,” added representatives of the GKNB.
