The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) responded to recent statements by parliamentarian Ulanbek Zhaanbaev regarding the issues citizens face when bringing cash into the country.
In the press service of the GKNB, it was noted that the movement of funds across the border of the Kyrgyz Republic is carried out in accordance with current legislation. "Control over cash flows strictly complies with the laws of the country and international obligations. These measures are intended to ensure financial security and combat illegal financial operations," the agency added.
