The deputy proposed to turn the Karagachevaya grove into a 'mini-Venice'

At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Ismanali Joroev raised an important issue regarding the Karagachevaya grove. He emphasized that this green zone, established by botanist Fetisov in 1981, covers an area of 136.6 hectares and is a unique park. However, only 40 hectares of the entire territory are actively used, while the rest remains neglected. The grove is home to various trees, including elm, linden, maple, hazel, and birch, as well as the Komsomol and Pioneer lakes.

The deputy pointed out that during the summer period, only one of the lakes is operational, many trees are suffering from drought, the irrigation system is not functioning, and sanitation is not being carried out.

In this regard, Joroev emphasized the need to create a municipal program for the improvement of the Karagachevaya grove.

He proposed to conduct an inventory of dead trees, plant new vegetation, restore irrigation, and gradually transform the area into an eco-park. His plans include the construction of bike paths with lighting and the installation of a dock for mini-boats on the lakes, thereby creating an atmosphere of "mini-Venice."
