According to the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov and the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the country's embassy in Saudi Arabia has successfully negotiated with the airline. As Ambassador Ulukbek Maripov reported, direct flights on the route Jeddah - Osh will resume on March 4. Flights will be operated three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

“Initially, only those citizens who have already purchased tickets will be able to fly on these flights. According to the airline, the plane accommodates 160 passengers, but it will not be fully loaded. Due to the closed airspace of Iran, flights will be conducted through Turkey without intermediate stops. Due to the increased duration of the route and fuel consumption, it is planned to take about 100 passengers to avoid overloading the aircraft,” the ambassador said.

In addition, Ulukbek Maripov noted that negotiations are currently ongoing regarding the possibility of organizing flights for citizens in need of departure.

“Representatives of the airline also reported their intention to resume flights on the Jeddah - Bishkek route in the coming days. However, they warned that due to the significant distance of the flight, there may be fuel issues,” he added.
