President Japarov announced the agreements reached regarding the evacuation of Kyrgyz citizens who found themselves in the UAE, using aircraft departing from Oman.

In his social media post, the head of state emphasized that work on the return of citizens who are unable to return home continues in the Middle Eastern countries.

He explained: "Due to the introduction of restrictions on air travel in the UAE, the organization of two charter flights has been agreed upon, which will be able to transport 300 people. Women and children will be evacuated first. I urge everyone to remain calm and patient," Japarov added.

He also noted that if permits for flights from the UAE are obtained, all remaining citizens will be able to return home within one day.

At the same time, on February 28, Israel and the United States conducted strikes against Iran. Donald Trump announced his intention to eliminate the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.

In response, Iran began attacks on Israeli and American facilities in various countries in the Middle East, including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai (UAE), as well as Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

As a result of the American-Israeli operation, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed. His wife, Mansure Khodjasteh, also died from her injuries.

Trump stated that military actions in Iran would last about four weeks. In response to the situation, Iran declared jihad against the USA and Israel, emphasizing its lack of intention to negotiate.

This situation in the Middle East has an impact on global events, including Kyrgyzstan. Thousands of tourists have been stranded in the UAE due to the conflict. Contact details for embassies and consulates for Kyrgyz citizens abroad can be found here.
