According to investigative data, Osmon was engaged in the import of construction materials, as well as consumer goods and vegetables from EAEU countries in 2023 and 2024 through the "Chon-Kapka" checkpoint.
The case materials indicate that he created a "sustainable tax evasion scheme" by underreporting the volumes and value of goods such as cement, furniture, watermelons, melons, and construction materials. In 2023, the volume of imported goods amounted to 1 million 448 thousand 660 soms, while in 2024 it reached 17 million 274 thousand 231 soms. Additionally, there were remaining goods worth 1 million 498 thousand 270 soms.
"This fact indicates that there are no invoices, waybills, or other documents confirming the origin of the goods, which points to deliberate distortion of tax accounting and tax evasion," the case materials emphasize.
- By the decision of the Talas City Court, Osmon was found guilty under part 1 of Article 242 "Tax evasion and (or) other mandatory payments to the budget" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He was fined 50 thousand soms and was ordered to pay a tax debt of 4 million 572 thousand 961 soms to the Talas State Tax Service.
- The judicial panel for criminal cases of the Talas Regional Court upheld the verdict.
