The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has denied information circulated through messengers and social networks about the existence of criminal groups posing as utility workers.
According to representatives of the ministry, such messages are not true and are fabricated. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not made any official statements on this matter.
Citizens are strongly advised to remain calm and rely only on verified sources of information.
Furthermore, the ministry reminds that the dissemination of false and misleading information may lead to criminal liability under the laws of the country.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges not to forward such messages and to refer exclusively to the official channels of information from the ministry.
